EAC wishes to point out that it does not have a Facebook account. It is making this announcement after identifying fake Facebook pages bearing the name and identity of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), the content of which is totally unrelated to the activities of the Organisation.
EAC has lodged a formal complaint with the Police Cybercrime Subdivision, which will investigate the situation.
EAC notes that, in addition to its official website (www.eac.com.cy), it has recently activated Twitter and LinkedIn accounts, while digital content is available on the EAC’s YouTube channel. Our aim is to give the public immediate access to all the announcements, interesting information, activities and news concerning the Organisation.
