The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) is modernizing, innovating, and evolving continuously by adopting digital solutions for the benefit of its customers. Aiming for faster, simpler, and upgraded services for Network Users, the EAC is utilizing the digital platform of the Geographical Information System (GIS), which simplifies application submissions to the EAC Distribution System Operator for all electricity connection services.
By utilizing advanced technologies, the EAC no longer requires the submission of property title deeds and cadastral plans related to the plots for which applications are submitted.
Thus, title deeds and cadastral plans, which until now were mandatory documents for submitting an application, are no longer required, except in specific cases.
The EAC extends its gratitude to the Department of Lands and Surveys for the excellent cooperation, contributions, and flexibility during the development of the platform to optimize public service.
