In order protect the health of EAC’s employees and customers and to limit the spread of COVID-19, EAC (DSO) wishes to inform the public that the submission of connection terms, as well as payments for any other service provided by the Distribution System Operator (EAC) to customers, can now be carried out online through e-banking or by Banker’s Order. Payment can also be made at any EAC Customer Service Centre. The EAC account with BANK OF CYPRUS into which payments can be made is the following:
Account Name: Electricity Authority of Cyprus
Account Number: 357010225405
IBAN: CY80 0020 0195 0000 3570 1022 5405
The SWIFT/ BIC code of BANK OF CYPRUS is: BCYPCY2N
In the DESCRIPTION field of their transfer, customers should enter their Connection Terms Application Number or the Number of the Bill that is being settled. Without this information, identifying the payment is extremely difficult and time-consuming and will lead to delays at this stage of the process.
Once payment has been made, the receipt, together with the signed EAC Connection Terms can be sent by post or placed in a sealed envelope in the special box located in the reception area of each EAC Area Office Network Users Service Centre.
The same applies to the payment of any other service provided by EAC in its capacity as DSO, including applications for Net Metering, re-examination of electrical installations, or an indicative initial estimate of the cost of connecting a future electricity generation system to the Distribution Network, etc.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
