Bill Payment With Monthly Instalments

The Monthly Instalment Plan helps you to distribute the cost of your electricity consumption into fixed monthly instalments, making it easier to plan your expenses throughout the year.

  • Smoother management of seasonal bill fluctuations
  • Better planning of monthly expenses
  • Easier household budget management
  • Ability to manage and pay online

  • The plan is available to Domestic Customers.
  • Customers participating in the Net Metering Scheme are excluded.

  • The monthly instalment is calculated automatically based on the property’s consumption history, applicable charges, and fuel prices.
  • The minimum monthly instalment is €25.
  • Participation in the plan lasts for 12 months (from the date the account joins the Plan) and is automatically renewed annually.
  • The monthly instalment amount may be adjusted during the year to avoid a large debit or credit balance.
  • At the end of each accounting year, a final account settlement is carried out. Any final amount payable or refundable will be distributed over the following 12 instalments.
  • The total annual billing of an account enrolled in the plan will not differ from the amount that would have been charged under normal billing.
  • The total charge remains the same as under normal billing.
  • The amount of the instalment is paid on the 6th-7th day of each month. In case that two instalments are not settled, the account will be removed from the plan automatically and the amount due is immediately payable.

  • Bills will continue to be sent for information purposes.
  • Customers who choose a payment method other than automatic bank account debit or payroll deduction will additionally receive a monthly “Instalment Payment Notice”

  • through the EAC Mobile App
  • by automatic bank account debit (SEPA)  LINK
  • through JCC, mobile banking, or banking institutions’ websites
  • at Customer Service Centers
  • at Cyprus Post Offices
  • through payroll deduction, where available
  • at bank counters (provided that the customer presents the instalment payment notice)

A necessary condition for joining the Monthly Instalment Plan is the settlement of the latest issued bill.
