The Electricity Authority of Cyprus wishes to inform the public that the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA), by its Decision No. 103\/2025, has approved new Fuel Adjustment Coefficients for tariffs for the period April \u2013 June 2025.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the Fuel Adjustment Coefficients, according to which EAC tariffs increase or decrease, are in force in order to adjust each unit of electricity that is invoiced, for every 1 cent increase or decrease to the basic fuel price of \u20ac300 per metric tonne, the cost of which EAC will determine for the month\/two months based on the purchase price of fuel.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new Fuel Adjustment Coefficients for tariffs will be applied:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0 For consumers with monthly bills, on their electricity bills reflecting the meter reading of the end of April 2025 and\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0 For consumers with bills every two months, on their electricity bills reflecting the meter reading of 1 May 2025 and afterwards.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The basic prices and the Fuel Adjustment Coefficients that used for the purchase of electricity generated by RES for the period April \u2013 June 2025, will remain the same as approved by CERA Decision No. 161\/2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n
