\u200b\u200bIn the context of its tariffs calculation methodology, EAC is obliged to submit new tariffs to the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA) for approval every year.<\/p>\n
In accordance with CERA’s decision No. 1\/2022, the 2021 tariffs, as approved by decision No. 15\/2021, will remain in force throughout 2022, with the exception of the tariff related to the recovery of expenses of the CTSO (T-TSO), which was approved at \u20ac0.11 cent\/kWh instead of \u20ac0.9 cent\/kWh. This charge is part of the Network Tariff.<\/p>\n
The Tariffs for 2022 have been approved by CERA’s decision No. 18\/2022.<\/p>\n
The new tariffs came into force on 1 January 2022. It is noted that they will be applied to electricity bills as follows:<\/p>\n
for monthly customers whose meter will be read at the end of January 2022 and<\/p>\n
for bi-monthly customers whose meter will be read from 1 March 2022 and afterwards.<\/p>\n
