Funding for the project has been secured through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism up to the amount of \u20ac35,000,000.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bSmart meters are the backbone of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system and play a crucial role in the transition from passive to smart grids. The implementation of the AMI project is particularly important as it will contribute to the modernization of the EAC network and the upgrade of the services it offers to consumers.
