main objective of the e-Charge service is to promote electric mobility in Cyprus, encouraging environmental protection through the reduction of carbon emissions, and contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment for Cyprus and its society.<\/p>\n<p>The e-charge service is controlled and managed by the Non-Regulated Activities Unit of EAC and monitors the charging of electric vehicle throughout the duration of the charging. The electric vehicle charging stations installed by EAC are using Mode 3 and Mode 4 charging with two-way communication between the vehicle and the charging station throughout the duration of the charging period. There are two Type 2 CCS \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 Chademo sockets in each charging station, in accordance with the international standards and recommendations of the European Commission and Eurelectric.<\/p>\n<p>The installed stations provide charging of up to 22kW(3-Ph) during normal charging and up to 120kW DC during fast charging. There are two sockets in each charging station, which can accommodate simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Charging stations are installed in selected public locations to ensure wide coverage across Cyprus for EV users.<\/p>\n<p>The e-charge service is provided through the EAC e-charge app, which can be downloaded on your smartphone\/tablet operating either with Android or iOS, hence additional operational features can be provided. The subscription fee is \u20ac5.76 per fortnight, per RFID card. In case of loss of the RFID card or in case the owner of an electric vehicle wishes an additional card, then he will go to any KEP for re-issuance (the cost of re-issuance is \u20ac5) or issuance of an additional card (the cost of an additional card is \u20ac25 and \u20ac30 deposit). The above prices do not include VAT. He does not register any personal information except if he wants to be sent a payment receipt, in which case his email address must be registered.<\/p>\n<p>Payment is made by registering his bank card. The payment process is processed through the secure JCC process.<\/p>\n<p>A necessary condition for the above process is that the user has access to the internet from his mobile phone.<\/p>\n<p>The
